Visiting a museum or going out to enjoy an evening of theater, promotes family bonding, encourages communication between family members and creates quality time that is often difficult to obtain in today’s busy world.

When youth are exposed to live theater performances and visits to museums they gain lifelong benefits such as; enhanced tolerance levels for others, the desire to learn about other cultures and societies outside of their own, and they gain the ability to actively utilize creative thinking skills. Youth are also more likely to pursue higher learning opportunities and be involved in community service when the arts become a part of their lives.
